GET SPOTTING!

SPOT the Groove is a user-based concert listing website that connect concert goers and artists in the Greater Toronto Area. Bands (and fans) post shows and fans vote for/attend them. SPOT staff writers also review concerts and spotlight upcoming shows.

The website allows users to:

• Vote for shows: are they worth checking out or not?
• List shows: add upcoming shows to the website
• Connect with users: discuss shows, music, what’s hot
• Comment: on band spotlights, reviews, upcoming shows
• Vote on venues: what’s hot, what’s not?

Currently the SPOT Team is working on expanding the website to provide a variety of media to its users, including; concert reviews, local artist spotlights, venue-watch, forums, general articles on the Toronto scene, and streaming audio. Our goal is to make it easier for music lovers all over Toronto to see the shows they want to see, and to discuss within this web-based community what we all love most: music.
